Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 litre milk


  • 2 tbsp vinegar


  • 2/3 cups sugar


  • 1 cups water


  • 1 pinch baking soda


  • 1 tbsp maida


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar-


  • 1 cups oil


  • 2 nos green cardamom

Directions

  • Boil milk and switch off the gas. Add vinegar and let it split
  • Then strain it and wash with cold water and hang for 15mins
  • Add sugar, water and green cardamom in a sauce pan and make a thin syrup
  • Bring the chhena and knead
  • Add maida, sugar, salt and baking soda and knead till smooth
  • Then shape like a doughnut
  • Heat oil in pan and add disc and fry till brown color
  • Strain and put in sugar syrup and rest for 1 hour.
