Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1 coconut, grated


  • 1 can - condensed Milk


  • 10-12 cashews (powdered)


  • 2 tsp - Cardamom powder


  • 4-5 tbsp Slivered pistachio (as per liking)


  • saffron strand 8-10 threads


  • 1 spoon hot milk to mix saffron


  • 1 tsp pure ghee for greasing the plate

Directions

  • In a non-stick pan heat ghee and add grated coconut and stir fry it.
  • Stir continuously for pa few seconds. Be careful the color of coconut shouldn’t change
  • Now add condensed milk and stir it again.
  • mix saffron in one spoon of hot milk and mix in the mixture. This will give nice color and flavor to burfi.
  • Add cardamom powder and cashew powder
  • When mixture leaves the side of the pan, transfer it to a greased flat plate.
  • Spread it all over the plate and level it
  • Spread slivered pistachio on it
  • Cut into shape of a burfi according to the size of each pieces you want and let it set for sometime
  • Once it solidifies take it out from the plate and enjoy
