Ingredients

  • Alum -2tbsp


  • Lemon juice-2tsp


  • Ash gourd-2kg


  • Sugar-750 gm


  • Water-4cup

Directions

  • Take ash gourd, peel it and cut into small pieces
  • Take one lemon nd squeeze it, keep the juice in a small bowl
  • Take ashgourd and prick it with a fork.take a large pan and fill it with water. Put the pricked ashgourd in it and add alum
  • Boil it in a medium flame for 12-13 minutes.once it boiked take it out and rinse it in cold water
  • In apan take 2 cup water and equal amoubt od water. And cook over medium flame.once the sugar is well dissolved add the lemon juice. Now add the ashgourd pieces into it at a low flame.cook until the ashgourd soaks the syrup
  • Take it out and place them in a plate separately until it gets cool
  • Serve
