  • 1 kg Rice (Basmati o any scented rice) 1 kg Mutton or Beef (pieces) 2 cups Peas 3 Tomatoes 5 Onions (sliced) 5 tbsp Garlic (pounded) 1 tbsp Ginger (pounded) Whole Garam masala (few Cinnamon sticks, Bay leaves, Cloves and Blackpepper) 3 tbsp Cummin seeds 5 Potatoes (halved) Salt (as required) 3 tbsp Ghee 1/2 cup Oil

    1) Use pressure cooker to boil meat with few whole garam masala, salt and ginger with one litre of water 2) In a big pot braise onions in ghee and oil till golden brownish color 3) Add garlic, potatoes and whole garam masala stir 4) Now add tomatoes and saute till paste like 5) Add peas, meat and its broth with a glass of water then close the lid, let it boil 6) Add rice and cook, let water dry up then simmer 7) If you using charcoal put more on lid
