Wash the Salmon thoroughly with warm water rubbing with salt to get rid of the smell. Marinate with all the above ingredients. Mix well to coat. Cover & refrigerate for half an hour.
Preheat oven on Grill or Broil setting. (Default temperature setting is 500 degrees F). Prepare baking dish by greasing it well with cooking oil or with nonstick spray.
Arrange the Salmon in the baking dish. Grill for 15 minutes. Flip the slices & grill for another 15 minutes.
Serve with green chutney & onion rings.
To steam the asparagus:
Wash the asparagus. Cut about an inch of the hard part of the stems & discard.
Boil water in a pan. When it comes to a rolling boil. Switch off the stove. Drop the asparagus in the pan. Leave for 5 minutes. Drain the water.
Sprinkle salt & freshly milled black pepper.
