8 bone-in skin on chicken pieces, thighs and legs
5-6 sprigs of Spring Onion chopped
4-5 Garlic cloves
1 inch Ginger
1 red Jalapeno pepper
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
5-6 sprigs of Coriander stem
1 tablespoon Chilli flakes
1 teaspoon dry Thyme
1/4th teaspoon Cinnamon powder
1 small piece of Nutmeg
1 tablespoon all spice powder (arabic mix spices)
1 teaspoon Salt
Roughly chop spring onion, ginger, garlic, coriander stem and red pepper.
Place them in a grinder along with all the other ingredients except chicken pieces.
Grind them to make a thick paste.
Take clean and trimmed chicken pieces to a dish.
Pour the spice paste over the chicken pieces and mix nicely to coat.
Cover and keep aside for atleast 2 hour or keep overnight in the refrigerator.
After 2 hours or next day, grill the chicken pieces in an electric griller or in a charcoal griller.
Grill for about 20 to 30 minutes or until done.
I served them with some stir fried noodles and garlic sauce.
