Combine tomatoes with ingredients mentioned under marinade.
Combine peppers with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Heat a grill pan. Dab olive oil onto the pan.
Thread 4-5 tomatoes onto the skewers.
Grill them on heated pan from all sides till lightly charred, approximately 3-5 minutes. Cover pan with glass lid while grilling.
Clean the grill pan and heat it again. Dab oil again.
Grill the sweet peppers along with garlic till nicely charred from all sides. Cover pan with glass lid while grilling, approximately 6-8 minutes.
Once peppers are cooled, peel off the skin from the peppers and discard them.
Combine all ingredients mentioned under mayonnaise along with grilled peppers and garlic.
With handheld immersion blender, macerate the ingredients by moving the blender up & down till smooth mayonnaise is obtained.
Cut the bread in triangles. Spread mayonnaise on the slices. Dab some cream cheese and then top it with 3-4 cherry tomatoes.
Drizzle little olive oil and chives over the tomatoes and serve.
