Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • Sukka Jawla 2 cups


  • 2 medium sized onions


  • 5-6 aamsul


  • 1 tsp turmeric


  • 2 tsp chilli powder


  • 1 tsp Salt as per taste


  • 2 green chillies

Directions

  • Wash sukka jawla and drain the water
  • In kadai, add 3 tsp of oil
  • Once oil is heated add finely chopped onions, saute onion till translucent
  • Add turmeric, chilli powder and splitted green chillies
  • Once the mixture starts to leave oil add washed jawla and aamsul (kokum) and mix well
  • Sprinkle some water for fish to cook and cover with lid
  • Once cooked add salt as per required.
  • Garnish with coriander and serve with tandul (rice) bhakari
