1.soak dried fish in a warm water. and clean well. sosking helps to remove the excess salt and dirt.
2.chop onions, tomatoes and brinjals and keep it aside.
3.soak the tamarind in water. Squeeze and extract the pulp
4.in a mixer grinder add coconut, small onions, black pepper, turmeric powder, chili powder and coriander powder
5.grind it in to a fine paste
6.in a earthen kadai add oil. once it was ready add chopped onions and green chillies. Saute it
7.Add tomatoes and saute it
8.add chopped brinjals
9.add required salt saute it
10.add coconut paste
11.add tamarind pulp, dried fish and required water and mix well. cook until its done.
12.sprinkle some curry leaves
