Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1/2 cups chopped fenugreak leaves


  • 1/2 cups chopped spinach leaves


  • 1/2 cups chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 nos green /raw tomato


  • 1 nos potato


  • 1 nos brinjal


  • 1 nos onion


  • 1/2 cups chopped cluster beans


  • 1/2 cups chopped green beans


  • 1/4 cups toor beans


  • 1/2 cups moong


  • 1/2 cups chana dal


  • 2 tsp green chilly paste


  • 1 tsp chopped fresh turmeric


  • 1 tsp crushed garlic


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 1/4 cups wheat flour


  • 1/4 cups rice flour


  • 1/4 cups juwar flour


  • 2 tbsp besan/green gram flour


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder

Directions

  • Cut all vegetabls as mentioned.
  • Now in pressure cooker boil 4 cups of water,and add all veges which we chopped.
  • We have soak moong and chana dal for 6 hours, wash and drain it,and add in cooker.
  • Now cover the lid and cook for 4 5 whistles on high flamed 2 whistles at low flame. When done open the lid add 2 tsp salt and green chilly paste.
  • Again mix well, and cook for 4 to 5 minutes with continuously with a spoon. Until corporates.
  • Now add 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
  • For rotlo mix all flours ina bowl,ad red chilly powder and 1 tsp of salt.
  • Knead a soft dough using little water.
  • Now take a quite big portion from dough and roll it.
  • Heat tava and roast rotlo on both sides till done.
  • This is traditionally winter recipe of kathiyvad, a heathy without oil or ghee and without masalas, so rotlo is served with ghtto, including green chilly pickle and fresh butter.
