Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups green split moong daal


  • 4 cups finely chopped spinach


  • 4 cups tomatoes


  • 2 nos green chillis


  • 4 tsp desi ghee


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 pinch asafotida


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

Directions

  • In a cooker add daal, paalan and 5 cup of water.
  • Cook till one whistle.
  • Make a paste with tomato and chilli.
  • Heat ghee in a pan and crackle cumin seeds.
  • Add ares of the spices. And mix well.
  • Add tomatoes paste and roast well.
  • Add daal paalak in it and boil for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with extra topping of ghee.
