Ingredients

Serves 4

  • green split moong daal 1 cups

  • finely chopped spinach 4 cups

  • tomatoes 4 cups

  • green chillis 2 nos

  • desi ghee 4 tsp

  • cumin seeds 1 tsp

  • asafotida 1 pinch

  • turmeric powder 1 tsp

Directions

    In a cooker add daal, paalan and 5 cup of water.

    Cook till one whistle.

  • 03

    Make a paste with tomato and chilli.

  • 04

    Heat ghee in a pan and crackle cumin seeds.

  • 05

    Add ares of the spices. And mix well.

  • 06

    Add tomatoes paste and roast well.

  • 07

    Add daal paalak in it and boil for 10 minutes.

  • 08

    Serve hot with extra topping of ghee.
