Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups chopped spinach


  • 3/4 cups whole wheat flour


  • 3/4 cups milk


  • 3 tbsp oil


  • 1/2 nos lime


  • 1 tsp green chilly coriander paste


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • 1/4 cups cheese shredded


  • 1/4 cups mayonnaise


  • 1 nos chopped tomato


  • 1 nos chopped whole red chilly

Directions

  • Boil water in a pot, ad chopped spinach leaves, for 2 to 3 minutes, take out and drain it. Then make fine paste using jar or hand blender .
  • In a mixing bowl add wheat flour, salt,lime juice, spinach paste, green chilly coriander paste and oil.
  • Mix througuly, then milk, Mix all to a fluffy batter.
  • Now ad baking powder and baking soda, mix well till fluffy.
  • Batter is ready, now pour this batter in a greased tin,or greased tava. If making in oven then bake for 10 minutes in preheated oven at 180 degrees. If making at stove top put one tava or skillet on gas, put onther nonstick tava over it. Pour the batter and cover with lid.
  • Chech with toothpick ,if inserted clean ,take out on plate, let it cool at room temperature.
  • Mix mayonnaise, shredded cheese,chopped tomato and roughly chopped whole red chilly,mix well
  • Now apply this on spinach cake evenly. Roll firmly.
  • Again apply some mayo mixture, chopped tomatoes, green chutney over it ,and serve.
