Ingredients

Serves : 30
  • 100 gm fresh mint leaves


  • 100 gm ginger


  • 250 gm or 8 lemons


  • 500 gm sugar to make sugar syrup


  • 1 tsp Black salt


  • 1 tsp Roasted Cumin seeds powder


  • 1 tsp Black pepper powder.


  • 1 Cup water to make sugar syrup

Directions

  • make sugar syrup by adding 1 Cup water to sugar in a vessel.Heat on Medium flame by continuously stirring it.Boil for 3-4 min till sugar dissolves.Off the flame ,let it cool.
  • Wash lemons, Ginger and mint leaves thoroughly.
  • In a mixi jar,add mint leaves,chopped Ginger.Add little water and blend it into a fine paste.Taje out in a bowl.To this paste add lemon juice.Mix well.
  • To this mixture add sugar syrup, Black salt, Black pepper powder and roasted Cumin seeds powder.Mix well everything.Strain this mixture through a thin muslin cloth into another vessel.Fill in glass bottle and preserve it.While serving add coldwater, in a glass ,mix 3-4 tbsp mint sharbat mix well and serve chilled
