Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • For dough: wheat flour 1/2 cup


  • Green gram flour 1/4 cup


  • Rice flour 1/4 cup


  • coriander leaves 1/2 small bunch


  • Chopped Fenugeak leaves 2 tbsp


  • Chopped green leaf onion (only leaves)2 tbsp


  • Green chilly paste 1/2 tsp


  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp


  • Salt to taste or 1 tsp


  • Oil as needed or 2 to 4 tsp


  • Lime juice 1 tbsp


  • For stuffing: medium sized potato 4


  • Chopped capsicum 2 tbsp


  • Chopped cabbage 2 tbsp


  • Chopped tomato 2 tbsp


  • Green chilly paste 1/2 tsp


  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp


  • Cumin powder 1/2 tsp


  • Red chilly powder 1/2 tsp


  • Chaat masala 1/4 tsp


  • Semolina 2 tbsp for coating


  • Salt 1 1/2 tsp


  • Oil 1 tbsp

Directions

  • Mix spring onion leaves, coriander leaves,lime juice and fenugreek leaves and make coarse paste.
  • mix all ingredients in a bowl for dough and Knead a soft dough using water.
  • Mash potatoes and all ingredients mentioned above.
  • Add semilina and again mix well.
  • Take a big amount of portion from potato mixture and give a shape of rectangle tikki.
  • Now heat nonstik with lil oil and coat tikki in semolina and shallow fry till golden and crisp. Let it cool.
  • Now take big portion from dough and roll a big roti, put tikki over it.
  • Cover with all sides and press gently.
  • Now heat nonstick pan and sprinkle lil oil and shallow fry paratha on both sides.
  • Serve hot with ketchup.
