Spinach Sweet Corn Soup

  • 250 gms spinach washed & chopped

  • 1/4 cups boiled mogar moong dal

  • 1 nos onion finely chopped

  • 1 nos tomato finely chopped

  • 1 tsp garlic paste

  • 1/2 tsp ginger grated

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

  • 1/2 cups blanched sweet corn

  • 1 tsp salt


  • Roast cumin & crush into smooth powder. Blanch sweet corn, boil moong dal. Chop spinach, onion, tomato and keep ready.
  • Heat a pan add chopped onion,ginger, garlic paste and saute it on slow flame add tomato and cook till turns soft add water and smash with spoon & cook till very soft add chopped spinach & salt as per taste.
  • When spinach is cooked completely add boiled moong dal & grind with hand blender and strain it. Cook again till one boil add black pepper powder & freshly roasted and crushed cumin powder.
  • Healthy Spinach Sweet Corn Soup is ready. Serve hot Soup in a bowl add blanched Sweet Corn on top.
