Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cups fresh fenugreek leave or methi


  • .5 cups chopped onion


  • 1 nos chopped tomato


  • 4 nos garlic cloves


  • 2 cups dal water


  • 2 tsp sesame seed oil


  • to taste pinch salt


  • to taste pinch pepper powder

Directions

  • 1.Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion, garlic and sauté until onions turn translucent
  • 2.Add the tomatoes and cook for a few more minutes
  • 3.Now add cleaned and chopped methi leaves and sauté until the greens wilt
  • 4.Add 2 cups of diluted dal water, salt and simmer for 15 minutes. You can also pressure cook for one whistle
  • 5.Blend half of the quantity and then add this to the rest of the soup and simmer for another 15 minutes. Add pepper powder to taste.
