  • 500 gms chick pea green leaves

  • 2 tbsp makki flour

  • 2 tbsp ghee

  • 3 nos onion chopped

  • 2 nos tomato chopped

  • 3 nos green chilli

  • 1.5 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tsp ginger chopped


  • Clean the leaves take soft part and discard the hard stem
  • In a pressure cooker add leaves salt and garlic ginger and cup of water wait until one whistle
  • In a separate pan add ghee now put onion wait till it get golden then add tomato let tomato gets mushy keep it aside
  • Now crush the boiled leaves u can use handblender and add makki flour to this blended leaves keep on stirring to avoid lumps once the makki flour get completely mixed with leaves add the onion tomato tadka
  • Garnish with butter for extra taste and flavor and serve with hot makki phulkas
  • Chane ka saag makki do roti is ready
