Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 cups drumstick leaves


  • 1/2 cups shredded coconut


  • 1/2 cups toor dal


  • 1 nos tomato


  • 2 nos garlic cloves


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 2-3 nos shallots


  • 1/2 tsp jeera


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 tsp coconut oil


  • 1 sprig curry leaves


  • 1 tsp mustard


  • 2 nos dry red chillies

Directions

  • Pressure cook the Dal with the tomatoes for 4 whistles.
  • Meanwhile grind together the coconut, jeera, garlic, turmeric powder and salt.
  • In a earthen vessel cook the drumstick leaves with little water and green chillies.
  • Now add the grinded paste to drumstick leaves once they are cooked. Add the cooked dal also to it and cook till it boils. Add water as required.
