Wash dal nicely. Pressure Cook dal for 1 whistle.. Once itis done. Cool it. Take out the lid and transfer to a bowl. keep aside.
Chopped vegetables ( french beans, carrot, radish and brinjal.
Heat oil in kadai. When the oil is hot add cumin seeds and few curry leaves. Add chopped onion , garluc cloves fry for 2 minutes. Add all the chopped vegetables saute it for 2 minutes.
Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder, hing, sambar powder, salt. Mix....properly. Transfer to a pressure cooker add dal and 1 cup water. Close the lid cook for 1 whistle. Cool it. Open the lid add tamarind pulp. Cook for 2 minutes. Once it is done. Transfer to a bowl. Ready to serve with hot....idly
