Peel and mash potatoes.
Heat oil in a pan.
Crackle cumin seeds, asafotida and roast turmeric powder.
Add green chilli and mashed potatoes.
Mix well.
Add salt and mix well.
Add 2-3 cup water and boil for 5 minutes.
Add chopped spinach and mix well.
Boil for 1 minute and turn off the gas.
Tip - after adding spinach don't cover the lid. Spinach will get black.
Serve hot.
