Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 5-6 nos boiled potatoes


  • 2 cups chopped spinach


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 pinch asafotida


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 2 nos green chillis

Directions

  • Peel and mash potatoes.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Crackle cumin seeds, asafotida and roast turmeric powder.
  • Add green chilli and mashed potatoes.
  • Mix well.
  • Add salt and mix well.
  • Add 2-3 cup water and boil for 5 minutes.
  • Add chopped spinach and mix well.
  • Boil for 1 minute and turn off the gas.
  • Tip - after adding spinach don't cover the lid. Spinach will get black.
  • Serve hot.
