Peel and cut the potato in pieces
heat oil in a pan and crackle cumin seeds and asafoetida
Now add turmeric and rest of the spices
Mix cut potatoes. Add 2 tbsp water and cook for 5 minutes. So that potatoes can be cooked completely.
Now mix chopped Spinach and salt.
Cook for another 2 minutes with cover lid on low flame.
Turn off the gas and serve hot with roti.
