Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 250 Afeem patta


  • 8-10 garlic cloves (minced)


  • 2 medium sized tomatoes (finely chopped)


  • 1 green chilli (chopped)


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1/2 cup peas (boiled)


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tsp Salt or to taste


  • 1 tsp sugar

Directions

  • First clean and wash the leaves.
  • Afeem leaves.
  • In a pan add washed leaves, 1 cup of water and tsp of sugar...Cook for few mins.
  • After cooling , add boiled leaves in a blender jar and blend roughly (not much.)
  • In a pan heat oil...Add cumin seeds ,And let them splutter , add minced garlic and stir till light golden, add finely chopped tomatoes, green chilli and salt , mix cover it and cook till they gets soft.
  • Add all spices.Stir well.Add blended leaves and saute well, add boiled peas and mix well.
  • Cook for few minutes till moisture evaporates.
  • Tasty Afeem patta bhaji is ready.Serve with bajra, makki aur with plain roti.
