Ingredients

  • 2 cups drumstick leaves


  • 5-6 nos red chillies


  • 2 tsp chana dal


  • 2 tsp urad dal


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida


  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Wash and dry the drumstick leaves overnight by spreading it in a newspaper or in a towel.
  • Dry roast other ingrediants one by one. Chana dal and urad dal should turn in golden.
  • Dry roast drumsticks leaves slightly without burning.
  • Grind all the roasted ingrediants to fine powder.
  • Grind all the roasted ingrediants to fine powder.
  • Store it in a air tight container.
  • Serve with hot rice, idly, dosai with some sesame oil or ghee
