Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1 cups spinach leaves


  • 2-3 nos tomatoes diced


  • 1 cups lotus seeds


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp garam masala powder


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp ghee


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 nos cinnamon stick

Directions

  • Firstly wash palak,n cook it for 5 minutes in water nwith salt.cool it and then make paste.
  • now Roast the makhana with ghee on a flat bottomed non-stick pan. Remove the makhana and in the same pan add little bit of oil and temper the cumin seeds and add the tomatoes.Cook until they release oil..
  • Add little water and cook it for 2,3 minutes.now Add the blended spinach mixture along with milk and simmer it for 3 minutes again.Finally, add the makhana and bring it to a boil.serve Palak makhana with paratha,puri or rice or roti.
