Serves 4

  • Spinach washed and Chopped 3-4 cups

  • Finely chopped garlic 4-8 tsp

  • Curd 1/2 cups

  • Chana dal flour 1/2 cups

  • Salt 1/2 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

  • Red chilli Powder 1-2 tsp

  • Whole red chillies 3-4 nos

  • Asafoetida 1/4 tsp

  • green peas 1 cups

  • Oil 3-4 tsp

    Boil spinach and green peas in Little water until tender

  • 02

    In a mixing bowl ,add curd and chana dal flour and prepare a lump free mixture, add some water also as per requirement

    Add this chana dal flour and Curd mixture to Boiled Spinach And Greenpeas, add little water of required and cook consistently , to avoid sticking from bottom

    Add little dry spices and salt to taste ,add cook some more time

    In a separate pan , prepare tadka , heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil , crackle Mustard seeds , add chopped garlic, whole red chillies , some turmeric powder, red chilli powder and Asafoetida also . Make a strong flavourful tadka

    Add this tadka immediately to Cooked Sabji and cover it

    Delicious flavourful Lasooni Matar Palak bhaji is ready to serve . This is a Traditional Maharashtrian Recipe and my childhood favourite too .i used to relish it with steamed rice . Typically it is served with Bhakari (jowar / bajra/ ragi roti) phulka or rice . Very healthy and two in one dish , can be served as side dish , as dal or as Sabji . Give it a try , I'm sure you gonna love it
