In a presure cooker add washed dal, add methi leaves and water close the lid n cook till 3 whistle
In a pan add oil add tempering (cumin seeds, mustard seeds, garlic pods, curry leaves, green chillies, asafoetida) saute
Then saute onions
Add tomatoes n salt saute till tomatoe gets soft
Then add turmeric pd, gara masala
Once oil seperates add mashed cooked dal
Adjust water n cook till boils n its ready to serve
