Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cups tuvar dal


  • 250 gms methi leaves


  • 1 nos chopped onion


  • 1 nos chopped tomato


  • 3 nos garlic pods


  • 2 nos green chillies slit


  • 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds


  • 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds


  • 1/2 tbsp asafoetida


  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tbsp garam masala


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 1 tbsp oil

Directions

  • In a presure cooker add washed dal, add methi leaves and water close the lid n cook till 3 whistle
  • In a pan add oil add tempering (cumin seeds, mustard seeds, garlic pods, curry leaves, green chillies, asafoetida) saute
  • Then saute onions
  • Add tomatoes n salt saute till tomatoe gets soft
  • Then add turmeric pd, gara masala
  • Once oil seperates add mashed cooked dal
  • Adjust water n cook till boils n its ready to serve
