boil spinach leaves for 2 mins
take it out and put it in cold water
make a rough paste
in a pan take oil and add bay leaf,cinnamon stick,cardamom and clove and sauté for 1 min
add onion,ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 min
add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,salt and chicken
cover and cook well for 10 mins
add tomato purée,coriander powder,cumin powder and cook again covered for 10 mins
now add the cashew nut and poppy seed paste and mix well till oil separates and the chicken is cooked 80%
now add the spinach purée and mix everything well
add 1 cup water for right consistency
cook for another 5 mins
add cream and butter and mix well
serve hot
