Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 200 gms fresh aamala (indian gooseberries)


  • 100 gms fresh coriander


  • 5-6 nos green chillies


  • 10-12 nos garlic cloves


  • .5 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp black salt


  • 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder


  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 2 tsp sugar


  • 1/2 piece ginger

Directions

  • Wash Aamalas in little warm water to remove any dirt.Remove seeds,Cut into pieces.Peel off garlic cloves, peel Ginger.put all these in a blender jar.Add green chillies.
  • Blend it roughly.
  • Now add Coriander leaves,salt,black salt,Cumin seeds powder,black pepper powder,lemon juice,sugar and little water to blend it into a fine paste.
  • Transfer this Aamala chutney in a bowl.It can be preserved in fridge.To preserve it for a long time,fill the chutney in Ice cubes tray and keep in freezer.Then remove Chutney cubes from the tray and keep in air tight container in freezer as long as for a year.use whenever necessary.
