Ingredients

  • 250 gms bathua saag


  • 1 1/2 bowls panchmel dal


  • 3/4 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida


  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 nos green chilli chopped


  • 6 nos garlic cloves chopped


  • 1 tsp clarified butter or ghee

Directions

  • Clean and soak Dallas for 20-30min
  • Clean &clear baths. Then wash thoroughly and chopped.
  • Take pressure cooker put Dallas, Nashua salt turmeric powder, and crushed paste add water. Pressure cook on high flame for one whistle then slow flame for 10min. Switch off the gas stove. Let's cool down on room temperature.
  • After cool down open lid and check it if it more thick add warm boiled water to desired consistency.
  • In tadka PA add ghee heat IL add chopped garlic saute for 1min add chilli then add cumin seeds andasafoetida. Put tadka on bathua Dal. Serve hot with chapati or rice.
