Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 Cups cooked basanti rice


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds


  • 1 Cup paalak puree


  • 2 tbsp tomato basil pasta sauce


  • 1/2 tsp Rock salt


  • 7-8 finely chopped garlic cloves


  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • 1 Onion finely chopped


  • 300 gm Homemade paneer crumbled


  • 1/4 tsp garam masala


  • 1/2 tsp Roasted kasuri methi

Directions

  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadhai,add Cumin seeds.By that time make paalak puree.keep aside.Now add chopped garlic in kadhai.Add chopped Onion and Saute till soft.
  • Add 1 Cup paalak puree ,garam masala and salt.Mix well.It will give nice green colour.
  • Now add 1 Cup cooked basamati rice to it and mix well lightly.Add little salt mix it.Transfer to a bowl.paalak rice is ready.
  • In another pan add crumbled paneer on low flame.
  • Add 2 tbsp tomato basil pasta sauce ,salt and kasuri methi.saute for 2 min.
  • Now add 1 Cup cooked basamati rice and little salt.Mix well.paneer rice is ready.Transfer in another bowl.
  • In a serving Plate put a circular greased mould.Put paalak rice till half in the mould and press well.Now put paneer rice over paalak rice layer and press well.Now slowly Remove the mould.Garnish with crackling deep fried spinach.
