Serves 4

  • 2 cup- spinach leaves

  • 2-onion chopped

  • 1 tsp-ginger,garlic,green chilli paste

  • 1-tomato chopped

  • 200 gm-paneer cut into cubes

  • 2 tbsp-oil

  • 1 tsp-cumin seed

  • 1- bayleaf

  • 1 tsp-salt or as required

  • 1/2- tsp- red chilli powder

  • 1/2 tsp- coriander powder

    Wash the spinach leaves under running water and boil this for 2 minutes along with 2 cup of water.

    Off the flame and remove spinach leaves from boiling water and keep it in cold water and remove.put it in grinder and make a smooth paste. keep it in a bowl.

    Now in a grinder add chopped onions,tomatoes and make a smooth paste

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadhai. Add bay leaf and cumin seeds and crackled. Add onion-tomatoes paste and saute for 2 minutes.add ginger,garlic,green chilli paste and cook.

    Add spinach paste,salt,coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix everything well. Cook for another 5-7 minutes.

    In an another pan heat 1 tsp oil and add paneer cubes and saute a second. Add this paneer cubes in spinach .cook for a minute and off the flame. Serve hot with rice or roti.
