Melt ghee in a deep pan
Sautee the onions and garlic pods
Add tomatoes and sautee till mushy
Add methi leaves and fry till they wilt
Add water and cook covered
Switch off flame and let it cool
Add everything to a blender along with salt and pepper and blend to a smooth consistency
Optionally you can strain it here i didnt as i liked the bites in the soup
Bring this to a boil and check for salt and pepper
Serve hot with a dash of butter
