Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup cleaned and chopped methi leaves


  • 1 onion roughly chopped


  • 1 tomato roughly chopped


  • 3-4 garlic pods


  • 1 TSP salt


  • 1 TSP pepper


  • 1-2 chunks of butter(for topping optional)


  • 1 tbsp ghee

Directions

  • Melt ghee in a deep pan
  • Sautee the onions and garlic pods
  • Add tomatoes and sautee till mushy
  • Add methi leaves and fry till they wilt
  • Add water and cook covered
  • Switch off flame and let it cool
  • Add everything to a blender along with salt and pepper and blend to a smooth consistency
  • Optionally you can strain it here i didnt as i liked the bites in the soup
  • Bring this to a boil and check for salt and pepper
  • Serve hot with a dash of butter
