Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 3 cups tender long bean leaves


  • .5 cups grated coconut


  • 4 nos dry red chilly


  • .5 cups shallots


  • .25 tbsp turmeric power


  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds


  • 3 tbsp coconut oil


  • 1 tbsp salt to taste

Directions

  • 1.Wash the long bean leaves with water and chop it into small pieces.
  • 2.Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add chopped shallots and red chillies into it and saute for 3 minutes.
  • 3.Add grated coconut, chopped long bean leaves, turmeric powder and salt into it and mix well.
  • 4.Cover and cook on low flame for 3 minutes.
  • 5.Switch off the flame. Payar Ela Thoran is ready.
