Tikki: 1) Boil and mash potatoes 2) Soak bread slices and immediately remove from water and strain water 3) Squeeze out extra water from slices and keep on a thaali 4) Add potatoes and the rest of ingredients and knead well, can oil your hands while doing this 5) Make cutlet shapes, can oil your hand, keep on thaali 6) Deep fry in hot oil putting four to five at a time on high flame, till golden and crispy 7) Serve with hot mint chutney. Mint Chutney: 1) Can either pound or grind in a processor 2) Add salt and lemon
