3 cup-chane ka saag
1/2 cup-chane ki dal (soaked in water)
1 onion- chopped
1 tsp-chopped ginger-green chilli
1 tsp-salt or as per taste
1/2 tsp-red chilli powder
2 tsp-gram flour (optional)
5-6- garlic cloves
8-10- whole black pepper
1 cup-oil for frying
1- lemon 1/2 cup-bread crumbs
Pluck chana leaves and wash under running water. Chopped roughly.
In a cooker add chana leaves,soaked chana dal,chopped ginger,garlic,green chilli, bay leaf,cloves, red chilli powder, whole black pepper and salt.add 2 glass water and close the lid. cook till 3-4 whistles. off the flame.
After releasing the steam open the cooker and cool down this mixture in room temperature. In a grinder grind this mixture and make a smooth batter. If necessary than add some gram flour and make Kebabs from this batter. roll in bread crumbs and set aside.
Heat oil in a kadhai. Fry all prepared Kebabs till crisp and golden brown in colour. Remove from oil and keep it in absorbent paper.
Serve hot with chopped lemon,onion and chutney.
