Add finely chopped chaulayi and chana daal in cooker.
Add 3 cup of water and cook till one whistle.
Make a paste with green chillis and tomato.
Heat 2 tbsp desi ghee in a pan. Crackle cumin, asafotida and turmeric powder.
Add tomato paste and roast well untill it starts to release ghee.
Add salt and cooked chaulayi.
Make one boil and mix well.
Serve hot with extra toppings of desi ghee.
