Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup chana daal


  • 2-3 cup chaulayi


  • 2-3 tomato


  • 2-3 green chilli


  • 3-4 tbsp desi ghee


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 pinch asafotida


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tbsp salt

Directions

  • Add finely chopped chaulayi and chana daal in cooker.
  • Add 3 cup of water and cook till one whistle.
  • Make a paste with green chillis and tomato.
  • Heat 2 tbsp desi ghee in a pan. Crackle cumin, asafotida and turmeric powder.
  • Add tomato paste and roast well untill it starts to release ghee.
  • Add salt and cooked chaulayi.
  • Make one boil and mix well.
  • Serve hot with extra toppings of desi ghee.
