Ingredients

Serves 3

  • 1 cup Basmati rice

  • 1.5 cup chopped green garlic leaves

  • 2 tsp oil

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 2 cups water

  • 10-12 split cashew nuts

  • 2 chopped chillies

  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

Directions

    First of all wash the rice and cook it in the pressure cooker by adding rice, water, pinch of salt and 1 tsp of oil.

    Then heat a pan, put the remaining oil in it and add cumin seeds in it.

  • 03

    When they crackle add the splitted cashew nuts and chopped chilli and saute it for 1 minute and then add the chopped garlic leaves and saute it well.

    Then add the cooked rice and salt and saute it and cover it for 2 minutes.

    Switch off the flame and your fresh green garlic pulao is now ready to serve.

    Serve hot with any curry or raita.
