  • 2 cup Fenugreek leaves

  • 1 1/2 cup Besan

  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour

  • 2 tbsp Semolina

  • 2 tbsp Yogurt

  • 2 tsp Green Chilli

  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder

  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds

  • 2-3 tsp Sugar

  • 2 tbsp Oil To taste Salt


  • Wash and Clean the Methi Leaves then Chop.
  • Take a large mixing bowl, add besan, wheat flour, salt, sugar, sesame seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, green chilli-ginger paste, carom seeds, semolina and mix well. Now add oil and again mix it well.
  • Add chopped Methi, yogurt or lemon juice, mix with your hand and make sticky but semi stiff dough, use water as required
  • Apply oil on you palm and make small-small cylinder shaped rolls from remaining dough.
  • Heat the oil in a deep pan, fry Muthia on medium flame till all side becomes golden brown.
  • Remove on paper towel, fried Muthia is ready to serve.
