Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Green Beans – 1kg finely cut


  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon


  • Shallots – 6 ( nos) sliced


  • Curry leaves – 1 sprig


  • Mustard seeds – 1/4 teaspoon


  • Oil – 2 tablespoon


  • To grind:- Grated coconut – 1/2 cup


  • Grated coconut – 1/2 cup


  • Garlic - 2 cloves


  • Cumin seed - 1 pinch or 1/4 teaspoon


  • Green chilly - 4

Directions

  • Chop the green beans into small pieces and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, take four green chilies, grated coconut, garlic, and cumin seed. Crush once again and keep aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds begin to pop, add the shallots and curry leaves; saute well.
  • Add the turmeric powder; saute till raw smell goes off.
  • Next, add a grated coconut mixture and mix well.
  • Now add the chopped beans and salt to taste. Mix everything well.
  • Close the pan with a lid. let it cook for 10 –12 mins until done.
  • That's it! Serve hot and enjoy :o)
  • Best served with Rice or Chapathi!
