Chop the green beans into small pieces and set aside.
Meanwhile, take four green chilies, grated coconut, garlic, and cumin seed. Crush once again and keep aside.
Heat the oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds begin to pop, add the shallots and curry leaves; saute well.
Add the turmeric powder; saute till raw smell goes off.
Next, add a grated coconut mixture and mix well.
Now add the chopped beans and salt to taste. Mix everything well.
Close the pan with a lid. let it cook for 10 –12 mins until done.
