Heat oil and add asafoetida and minced garlic to it.
Also add the rest of the spices now. Fry for a minute.
And finally add the chopped beans to it.
Add salt according to taste and saute on a high heat for almost 10 minutes.
Cover with a lid now and allow it to cook further without adding any water.
After almost 15 minutes, add roughly chopped small fenugreek leaves, also called as choti methi in Hyderabad.
Mix well and garnish with coriander.
Serve hot with chapatis or rotis.
A green delight that goes well with chapatis and rotis. This is my way of frying beans in Winters especially when vegetables are available aplenty. Simple ingredients go into making this fry and tastes so good too. Kids will never realize that it has got fenugreek leaves in it and will therefore have it without much fuss. Eat green, eat healthy.
