Make a paste with tomato and green chillis.
Heat oil in a pan. Crackle cumin seeds and asafotida.
Now add 1/4 cup of water and add fenugreek leaves. Boil untill the cooked completely.
Now check if there is any water dry it.
Add salt and mix well. Turn off the gas.
Now add cream and mix well.
Methi matar malayi is ready to serve.
