Ingredients

  • 1 cup chhole / Chickpeas


  • 1 cup fenugreek leaves finely chopped


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 2 pinch asafotida


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 2 pinch baking soda


  • 2 tomatoes


  • 4 green chillis

Directions

  • Soak the chickpeas for 8 hours.
  • Add chhole and baking soda in pressure cooker abd cook for.2 whistle.
  • Grind Tomatoes And green chillis.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Crackle cumin seeds, asafotida, Turmeric powder. Ads tomato paste roast well.
  • Now add chhole, salt and boil for 2 minutes.
  • Now add fenugreek leaves and boil for another 5 minutes with cover lid.
  • Turn off the gas and serve hot with rice.
