Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 gram palak/spinach


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp jeera


  • 1 pinch asafotida


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 200 gram Paneer


  • 2 green chillis


  • 1 tsp garam masala

Directions

  • Firstly cut out the stems of spinach and wash the Spinach leaves.
  • Boil 2 glass of water and add spinach and green chillis. Keep for 2 minutes. Now immediately transfer the spinach leaves in cold water.
  • Now make a paste with spinach and green chillis.
  • In a pan heat oil and crackle jeera, asafotida and turmeric powder.
  • Now add spinach paste and saute for 1 minute.
  • Now add salt and Paneer cubes.
  • Add garam masala and cook for 2 minutes with covered lid.
  • Turn off the gas and serve hot.
