Ingredients

  • 1+½ cup methi leaves

  • 1 cup spinach leaves

  • 2 tsp fennel seeds

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 2 green chilli

  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 3 cloves

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 2 tsp mustard seeds

  • 2 tsp cream

  • 60 gram paneer

  • 1/4 tsp hing

  • 1 tsp or as per taste salt

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 tsp kasuri methi

Directions

    Wash methi and spinach leaves properly. In a large vessel, keep enough water to boil. Add leaves and blanch it for 3-4 minutes.

    Remove it from hot water and pour cold water over it to prevent it from loosing green color

  • 03

    In a mixer jar, take leaves along with green chilli and make a paste.

    In a kadhaai, add oil, cumin seeds and hing. Now add bay leaf and saute it for a while.

    Add ginger powder, garam masala and fennel seeds powder and turmeric powder

    Now add crushed green paste. Add salt, sugar and little water and let it simmer.

    Let it cook for 6-8 minutes. Now add paneer cubes. You can add plain or fried paneer cubes.

    Add cream and kasuri methi at last.

    Methi chaman is ready to serve.
