Heat oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds and let it be crackers.
Add garlic and chopped chili.
Add soaked methi and chopped potato.
Add salt and mix well.
Cook methi and potato for 10 to 12 minutes.
Add chopped tomato and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add red chili powder, coriander powder , turmeric powder and garam masala.
Mix well and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
Serve hot with paratha or chapati.
