  • Maida-160gms

  • Powdered sugar-130gms

  • Baking powder-1tsp

  • Baking soda-1/2tsp

  • Eggs-2

  • Unsalted Butter-100gms

  • Milk-100ml

  • Vanilla essence-1 1/2tsp

  • Salt-1/4tsp

  • Cherries-as per requirements

  • Pineapple pieces-soaked in sugar syrup for 2 hrs(Boil water add sugar and mix it well.Then allow it to cool down add the pineapple pieces and set aside for 2hrs.

    1.Caramalize the sugar Heat pan add 4 tblspn sugar.Then add 1 tblspn water and stir until the sugar turns brown then add the butter.Stir until the butter melts.Now pour it on the baking pan and all it to it. 2.Sieve all the dry ingredients (Maida,baking powder,baking soda and salt).Set it aside. 3.Now beat the eggs until you get a foamy texture. 4.In another bowl add butter and powdered sugar and beat it well until you get a creamy consistency.Then add vanilla essence and beat it again. 5.Now add the beaten eggs into the beate butter and sugar and mix well. 6.Once it’s mixed well add the sieved ingredients (Maida,baking powder,baking soda and salt) little by little and mix well with a spoon without foaming any lumps.

    7.Now again beat it with the beater.Then add milk and beat again.Now cake batter is ready. 8.Preheat the oven at 180c for 15 mins. 9.Now arrange the pineapple pieces and cherries on the baking pan set with caralamized sugar. 10.Pour the cake batter.Tap it in order to spread evenly and to prevent air bubbles. 11.Bake at 180c for 35 mins 12.Tasty pineapple cake is ready invert the cake on a plate.
