Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 small bowl moong dal soaked overnight


  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper cut into julliens


  • 1/2 cup yellow bell pepper cut into julliens


  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper cut into julliens


  • 1 onion cut into sliced


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1/4 teaspoon black salt


  • 1 teaspoon oregano


  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste


  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste


  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili sauce


  • 1/2 teaspoon vinegar


  • 1 teaspoon tomato ketchup


  • 1 green chilli


  • 1 tablespoon oil

Directions

  • Grind the soaked Moong dal into a fine paste by adding green chilli, salt , ginger paste and garlic paste.
  • Transfer this better into a bowl and see the consistency if required then add more water.
  • The batter should be neither thick nor runny.
  • Now take non stick Tawa and brush it with oil.
  • Now pour one scoop of the batter on it and start spreading towards outer with the spoon.
  • Medium the flame of the gas.
  • When starts getting brown from the bottom then flip it.
  • It should be little bit soft , not very much crisp.
  • Now when gets cook from both the side then transfer it to the plate.
  • Likewise make all the cheelas.
  • Now cut these cheelas into long stripes like noodles.
  • After that take a pan and heat it by adding oil.
  • Now add sliced onion and saute for 1 minute.
  • After that add all the three bell peppers and saute it.
  • Stirr continuously so. that it does not get burnt
  • Then add Cheela stripes to it.
  • Then add black salt,oregano, black pepper, chilli sauce , vinegar and tomato ketchup to it.
  • Mix it properly.
  • Now here our healthy version of noodles for the kids are ready to serve.
  • I am sure kids will love to eat this moong dal cheela noodles.
