Ingredients

Serves : 12
  • 1 bunch palak


  • 1 cup all purpose flour


  • 3/4 cup sugar


  • 1/2 cup curd


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1/2 tsp baking soda


  • 1 cup paneer


  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar


  • 1/4 cup finely chopped nuts(kaju and badam)


  • 1 tbsp raisins


  • 1 tsp Oil for greasing

Directions

  • Grease the baking tray and lined with butter paper
  • Arrange all the ingredients required
  • Make palak puree,grate paneer and and add powder sugar,chopped nuts and one spoon malai and mix it nicely
  • Mix curd and sugar till sugar dissolves.Add baking powder and baking soda and mix it
  • Add flour and palak puree and mix it
  • Pour this mixture on the baking tray and bake it at 160°for 20 min
  • When baked take out the tray and transfer the cake on another butter paper
  • Roll the cake along with butter paper and let it rest for 5 minutes
  • After 5 minutes open the roll and spread the paneer mixture evenly over it
  • Now once again roll it with help of butter paper,wrap it and keep it in fridge for an hour to set
  • Take it out from the fridge and cut it in slices
  • Enjoy the healthy version of cake roll
