Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • Atta/wheat - 1 cup


  • Jaggery - 1/2 cup ( powdered)


  • Ghee - 1/2 cup


  • Cardamom powder -1/4 teaspoon


  • Nuts to garnish - 1/2 cup

Directions

  • In a pan heat in ghee, once it is melted add in the wheat flour and roast in a low flame until the color changes to a golden brown and you will get a nice aroma.
  • Next, add in the cardamom powder and the jaggery. Mix well. Cook till the jaggery melts and blends well with the wheat flour.
  • Now transfer the flour to the greased plate and level it.
  • While it is still hot draw lines to shape it into burfi and garnish with any nuts.
  • Once it cools down you can separate them into pieces.
